Since February, in the Monteverde – Portuense district, the Psychological Emergency Room has been active, born from the intuition of the clinical psychologist Mariolina Palumbo and the result of her long experience as a therapist in Rome and Milan. Designed with the aim of offering the citizen a professional service at low cost, the PSP is aimed at all those who urgently need to receive psychological support to face critical moments. The first-of-its-kind Psychological First Aid is located inside Villa Giuseppina, a psychiatric residential building and RSA located in via Prospero Colonna 46 and will remain open throughout the month of August, seven days a week, with non-stop time. from 9.00 to 19.30. The Psychological First Aid team is composed of experts and takes care of all the problems related to discomfort: from anxious symptoms to couple conflicts, from adolescent problems to reactive depressive states (management of bereavement, postpartum depression, conditions resulting from diseases serious organic), up to issues related to work, such as mobbing and anything else that can intervene to change the state of well-being of the person.
